PACC News, or Pacific Current News was founded in 2024 in response to the growing unsatisfaction with local reporting. Founded with a simple goal of providing clear, spin-free, and accurate reporting. PACC continues to operate under these central guidelines.
Pacific Current operates out of the Pacific North West, and maintains a network of local, national, and international contacts to drive our reporting. PACC News proudly operates under a zero-cost, zero-revenue model, and reports free of any donor responsibilities. As of 2026 PACC News joined the Nationals Writers Union.
Our Reporting:
PACC News offers two primary channels of reporting. Firstly our “External Wire” in which we compile, verify, and curate news globally. Secondly our “PACC Coverage” in which our reports document stories first-hand.
Our Platforms:
PACC News operates a variety of platforms to ensure maximum reach and accessibility to our users. Although our website is the HUB, a majority of media content will first be published to said external platforms.

It is currently, and will always be policy that any and all original media/content published or shared by PACC News is accessible to the public via public domain. Said content can be accessed on the Internet Archive.
